A delegation from the Cultural Office of the Sultanate-e-Oman Embassy of India visited the University at Shobhit University today. In which Hilal Nasir Al Rawahi was the Head Cultural Office Embassy Sultanate-e-Oman in India.
In the beginning of the program, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Ajay Rana, welcomed the delegation on behalf of the Chairman and Chancellor of the University. During the program, discussions were held between the foreign delegation and Shobhit University regarding common programs. In which joint research, training programs, HR development, technology transfer and joint operation of various types of cultural programs were discussed in detail.
Hilal Nasir Al Rawahi Head Cultural Office Embassy of Sultanate-e-Oman in India said that Oman has very close relations with India. Which has been going on for the last 5 decades. India and Oman have always been allies of each other in trade, education and culture. He praised the university and said that he has not seen any university like this before in India, as it is a green campus with a hi-tech and pure environment.
While emphasizing on the important issues related to education, Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. During his visit to the prestigious university, he visited all the departments of the university and appreciated the work being done by the university on new technology. During the visit, he met all the Deans and Directors of the Vishwavidyalaya.
At the end of the program, the registrar Group Captain Mitranand Bahuguna, Director Professor Ashok Kumar Gupta and Professor Dr. Poonam Devdutt honored the delegation by presenting a memento and a Rudraksh plant to the delegation. The program was conducted by Dr. Neha Vashisht.
On this occasion Huda Salim Nasir Al Hansani from Embassy of Oman, Mo Tahir, Dean Research Prof Amar Prakash Garg, Dean Student Welfare Prof Dr Poonam Devdutt Director IQAC Dr Vipin Tyagi, Director Dr Neeraj Singhal, Media Incharge Dr Abhishek Dabas, Dr Neha Yajurvedi, Deputy Registrar Raman Sharma was the chief guest.
