BJP and National Commission for Women, playing the role of opposition in Bihar, have also strongly targeted CM Nitish’s statement. Union Minister RK Singh has said that we are ashamed that Nitish Kumar is the Chief Minister of Bihar. On behalf of the Women’s Commission, it has been said that the statement given by Nitish Kumar in the Assembly is shameful. This statement of his should be removed from the proceedings of the Assembly.
CM Nitish’s apology
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has given clarification regarding what he said on population control. He has said that “I take back my words with apology.” While talking to news agency ANI, CM Nitish Kumar has said that if anyone has been hurt by my words, then I take back my words and apologize for the statement. Along with this, he has also said that those who are condemning are congratulated. I don’t condemn like that.
BJP targeted CM Nitish
BJP, which is playing the role of opposition in Bihar, has fiercely targeted the Chief Minister of the state for his statements. On behalf of BJP, Union Minister RK Singh has said that we are ashamed that he is the Chief Minister of our state. Along with this, he has said that every citizen of Bihar should be ashamed that their Chief Minister is making such a statement in the Assembly. Apart from this, senior Bihar BJP leader Ashwini Choubey has also targeted CM Nitish Kumar and asked him to resign on moral grounds.
Women Commission criticized
Taking cognizance of the speech allegedly given by Nitish Kumar on population control, the National Commission for Women has also criticized it. On behalf of the Commission, Chairperson Rekha Sharma has said that “the statement given by Nitish Kumar is definitely derogatory. He is giving statements in the Assembly on the lines of dialogues from C grade films.” Along with this, the Commission has demanded the Bihar Assembly Speaker to take action against him and has also asked for his statement to be removed from the proceedings of the Assembly.
