Chhattisgarh: Class 7 girl student creates history, gets permission for Class 10 exam after IQ test

12-year-old Nagaris Khan, a resident of Balod district of Chhattisgarh, has created history. While studying in class 7th itself, he has got permission to appear for 10th class examination. However, for this he also had to undergo an IQ test. Actually, Nargis’s mind is sharper than other students. This is the reason why she is appearing for class 10th exam while studying in class 7th. To get permission to give the 10th exam, Nargis had also met Chief Minister Baghel. After which Chief Minister Baghel had instructed the officials to take whatever tests are necessary for the girl child and allow her to appear in the exam.

Giving information in this regard, Chhattisgarh Board Chairman VK Goyal told a leading news daily that the decision to allow Nargis to appear in the Class 10 board exams has been made on the basis of an IQ test. The IQ test of Nagaris was conducted by the District Government Hospital and Department of Clinical Psychology. Nargis obtained a perfect score in IQ test and Mallins Intelligence Scale for Indian Children (MISIC).

Nargis’s father Firoz Khan does farming in Ghumka village. He told the media that his daughter was fond of reading from the beginning. This was the reason that she used to get 99 percent marks in studies even in the previous classes. At an early age, she speaks good English as well as solves difficult arithmetic problems with ease.

Due to being sharp in studies, the teachers also focused on Nargis. Along with this, the teachers also suggested him to get the 10th examination. After which I visited several offices including Governor’s, Chief Minister’s and Collector’s offices to get Nargis to appear in the 10th class examination. After which it is said there that for the process of such special case the student appearing in the board exam will pass the IQ level test.

After which a medical team from Hyderabad reached Rajnandgaon on June 15, 2022. Where Nagaris gave IQ test. After getting the perfect score in the IQ test, he was finally allowed to appear for the board exams. Nagaris’ father also said that he is confident that his daughter will do well in the board exams. Khan said Nargis aspires to clear the civil services examination of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and serve the nation.

Here, Nagaris also said that she wants to appear in the Civil Services Examination of UPSC. On the other hand, Nargis said about the exam that her exams are going well and the result will also come as expected.
