Students’ protest continues
Students’ protest against offline examinations continues. Students are demanding to conduct online examination instead of offline. Students argue that till now most of the colleges have not been able to finish the complete syllabus. Offline exams are not perfect amidst the threat of Omicron, and who will be responsible if they get infected by it? Apart from this, students argue that SOP’s were not followed last year, so online exam is the safest option.
A student told NBT, “We have been demanding online examination for the past several days. But there has been no response from the university. How can the university play with the lives of over 2 lakh students and their families? The last time the university conducted the offline examination was in February, after which many students got infected with Corona. If we get an infection then who will be responsible for it?
