15 students of Mathura GLA University selected in Fair Labs

15 students of GLA University, Mathura have got employment in Fair Labs Company at good package. 8 students of MBA and 7 students of Polytechnic (Diploma) have got success in getting employment in this company. Recently, Fair Labs Company organized campus placements in the university to provide employment to the students of GLA University. During the campus placement, the company officials first apprised the students about the various dimensions of the company. After that written and oral examination was conducted to see the talent of the students. The students performed well in written and oral examination reflecting the quality of education imparted by the university.

Appreciating the ability of the students, the company officials released the list of selected students. In this, the names of 15 students were announced. Among the selected students, 8 MBA students Nidish Gogia, Prince Ahirwar, Abhishek Chauhan, Disha Parmanand, Prachi Singhal, Sandhya Yadav, Devendra Singh, Ronit Paliwal and 3 students of Diploma Electrical Engineering Bhagwan Das, Rajat Soni, Sudhanshu Chandra and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. 4 students Aman Pathak, Shivam Bhardwaj, Vikash Sharma, Umesh i.e. total 15 students got employment.

Selected MBA student Prince Ahirwar and Diploma student Aman Pathak said that it is the dream of every student to get better employment after pursuing higher education. This dream seems to be coming true while studying at GLA University. Here students are also prepared to make them employable and move towards entrepreneurship. The NewGen IEDC and Incubation Center at the university are examples of this. NewGen IEDC and Incubation Center are fully involved in providing support and furthering the ideas of the students.

Bharat Kant Sharma, Manager Corporate Relations, Department of Training and Placement said that as the demand for companies is increasing, the university is also engaged in preparing its students in the same way. To provide employment to more and more students, students are being made employable through campus placement and online mode by contacting companies.

Head of Department (PG) of Institute of Business Management Prof. Vikas Tripathi, Principal of Polytechnic Institute Dr. Vikas Sharma and Vice President Corporate Relations of Training and Placement Department Saurabh Goyal asked the students through a message that the students should get involved in the preparations. Soon more and more companies will visit the campus and provide employment.

Gaurav, Radhika and Priya got first prize

Mathura. National Mathematics Day was celebrated in the Department of Mathematics, GLA University, Mathura. Quiz, poster and speech competition were organized on this occasion. In the poster competition, Gaurav Kumar, a student of BTech CS, Radhika Bansal, a student of BCA Honors in the quiz, and Priya Sharma in the speech competition were awarded the first prize. The chief guest was GLA’s Dean Research Prof. Aniruddha Pradhan threw light on the life of a great Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. Head of Department of Mathematics Prof. Manish Goel said that Srinivasa Ramanujan is counted among the greatest mathematical thinkers of modern times. The program was concluded with the help of Dr. Priyanka Garg and Dr. Suchi Bhatt of the Convenor Department and students Bhavika Aggarwal and Girija Choudhary.
