Cars are on the second number in this list. Luxury cars have given 185 per cent returns in the last ten years. Wine is at number three. Vine has given 162 per cent returns. Similarly, 74 per cent returns were received on handbags, 59 per cent on coins and 44 per cent on jewellery. Investing in whiskey is seen as a passion of sorts. Meanwhile, the trend of drinking expensive liquor is also increasing among the people of India. India has recently emerged as the largest market for UK Scotch whisky, overtaking France. In the year 2022, the import of Scotch whiskey from Britain increased by 60 percent. India imported 219 million 700ml bottles of Scotch whiskey last year, while France imported 205 million bottles. The Indian Scotch market has grown by over 200 per cent in the last decade. Last year saw a significant increase in the export of Scotch whisky. During this period, 6.2 billion pounds of whiskey was exported to the whole world, which is a record. For the first time this figure has crossed six billion pounds. Most of the Scotch whiskey was exported from Britain to America.
