Speak for India is an initiative of Federal Bank Hormis Memorial Foundation in association with The Times of India Group. It encourages young, dynamic and enthusiastic minds from across the country to raise their voice on relevant issues. The event lets college going students hone their speaking skills through a platform that encourages them to express their views and perspectives on contemporary topics.
This initiative was first started in 2014 with the goal of youth empowerment. Since then, the Federal Bank Speak for India has seen participation from over 2 lakh students every year across states such as Delhi, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Kerala. The event has gained a lot of momentum in the recent past by letting the students put forth their perspective and help them work on key social skills like public speaking.
