Titled ‘Diamonds Are Forever, So Are Morals’, this autobiographical book has also been praised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself. He wished the book success, describing it as a ‘source of inspiration’ for generations to come.
Dholakia was born in a remote village in Gujarat in a poor farming family consisting of seven brothers and sisters. He grew up like any other child. His business journey began in the year 1964, when he moved to Surat. He did this not only to help his family but also to fulfill his dream of doing better.
People who know Dholakia affectionately call him ‘Govind Kaka’. He also worked as a diamond polisher in a diamond factory before setting up this business.
