Today Punjab Congress Chief Amarinder Singh Raja Vading along with his workers reached Jalalabad Police Station to meet arrested MLA Sukhpal Khaira. During this time, he was not allowed to meet Khaira and also he says that the administration closed the gate of the police station after seeing him.
Raja Vading got information in this matter that the police has taken Khaira to Fazilka CIA staff. After this, a group of Congress workers under the leadership of Amarinder Singh Raja Vading also reached Fazilka CIA staff but they could not meet MLA Khaira. Now politics regarding this has intensified in the state and the round of allegations and counter-allegations is also going on.
Congress Chief Raja Vading’s claim
In Punjab, State Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Vading claimed about MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira that he is being implicated in an old case. During this time, Raja Vading expressed his desire to meet Khaira and first reached Jalalabad police station. But he got information that Khaira has been taken to Fazilka CIA staff. After this, he also reached there with his workers but Vading was unable to meet the arrested MLA Khaira.
During this, Raja Vading also took the administration to task and said that Khaira was being implicated in a false case. He also said that this action seems politically motivated.
MLA Khaira is on police remand
Let us tell you that Congress MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira is on police remand for two days. He was arrested by Jalalabad police from his Chandigarh residence only yesterday. After this, the police presented Khaira before the court and sought remand for 7 days. However, the court has given two days’ remand to the police in this regard. After that the case can be heard again. Now the political temperature in the state seems to be continuously rising regarding this and the round of allegations and counter-allegations is going on between the political parties.
