Under this, it was told that the interest rate of 7.1% on GPF has been retained for the quarter from October 1 to December 31, 2023. Under this, government employees can become a part of this fund by depositing some part of their salary as contribution. In return, the employee can be paid at the time of retirement. Let us tell you that even before this quarter, the same interest rate was being provided on GPF.

Let us tell you that for the fourth consecutive time for this quarter the interest rate on GPF is the same. In this the interest rate has been fixed at 7.1 percent. Earlier, it was announced to pay interest at the same rate in the quarter from July to September also. It is being said that the government is continuously implementing the old interest rate in this sequence. At the same time, the government has also informed that the interest rates on Provident Provident Fund, All India Services Provident Fund, State Railway Fund and Armed Personnel Provident Fund along with all other government provident funds have also been maintained as before. There has been no change in this.
