Let us tell you that the Reserve Bank of India (Reserve Bank of India) had officially announced on 19 May 2023 that Rs 2000 notes will now be withdrawn. Along with this, it was also told that it can be deposited in banks till 30th September.

Let us tell you that e-commerce site Amazon has made a big announcement in this regard. Amazon has told its customers that now currency worth Rs 2000 will be rejected as cash on delivery while delivering goods. For this, the deadline has been fixed till 19th September. After this, customers will not be able to take delivery of goods by paying Rs 2000 notes. Let us tell you that Amazon is currently accepting this currency of Rs 2000. However, it will not be accepted after September 19.
RBI had said this
reserve Bank of India (RBI) had made a big announcement on May 19, 2023, saying that now Rs 2000 notes will no longer be in circulation. After this, RBI had also said that this Rs 2000 note can be deposited in banks till September 30 and it can be exchanged. People can exchange this currency by going to any bank.
Let us tell you that according to the latest information given by RBI regarding deposit of Rs 2000 notes in banks, 93 percent of Rs 2000 notes have been deposited in banks by 31 August 2023. Now these notes are available with people in very small quantities. RBI has appealed to the people to deposit these remaining notes in their nearest banks as soon as possible before September 30 so that they do not suffer financial loss.
