Union budget to be presented on February 1
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is going to present the Union Budget for the financial year 2023-24 on February 1. The middle class of the country has high hopes from the last full budget of the second term of the Modi government. At the same time, decisions that give relief to the common man are expected from Sitharaman in the budget. In such a situation, this time many changes will be seen on the first date of the budget month.
The prices of Tata Motors vehicles will increase by 1.2 percent:
Tata Motors, the country’s leading automobile manufacturer, has announced an increase in the prices of passenger vehicles. The prices of the company’s cars will increase by 1.2 per cent from February 1. According to Tata Motors, on an average basis, the prices of the company’s petrol and diesel engine passenger vehicles will increase according to the model and variant.
Additional charges will apply for credit card rental:
Paying rent through credit card is going to be expensive now. Bank of Baroda (BoB) has already announced this. According to the company, a fee of 1 per cent will be charged for making rent payments through credit cards. This rule of BOB is going to come into effect from February 1, 2023.
New packaging rules will be applicable from February 1
The central government is going to implement new packaging rules from February 1. The benefit of the public is also connected with this new rule. According to the order issued by the Center, it will be mandatory to give packing information on packets of 19 types of items such as flour, biscuits, milk, water, cement bags, pulses grains, which includes the manufacturing date, weight and expiry date of the item.
Possible increase in the price of domestic cooking gas:
Public sector oil and gas marketing companies usually review the prices of LPG gas cylinders on the first of the month. Usually every month there is an increase and reduction in the price of domestic cooking gas and commercial LPG gas. However, LPG prices have remained unchanged for a long time. In such a situation, it is expected that there will be no change in the prices of cooking gas this time also.
