You can change your address and surname in your PAN card sitting at home. There is also an online process for this. With few steps you can change it.
First of all you go to the link https://www.onlineservices.nsdl.com/paam/endUserRegisterContact.html.
After this you have to fill the application form.
It needs to be noted that all the necessary information given here should be filled.
After that you have to submit online.
Now select the cell which is created in front of your name and enter your PAN in the form.
After this, the information given in the form will have to be verified.
For verification, you have to click on ‘Validate’ option.
After this, you have to proceed further by clicking on the ‘Submit’ button.
After filling the form, you can submit the fee through online net banking or debit, credit card. You will have to pay a fee of Rs 110 for an address in India and Rs 1020 for an address outside India. At the same time, after the payment is done, you will have to download and fill the application form. Take a print out of it and sign it by affixing two passport size photographs.
Send the printed application form for Income Tax PAN Services UNIT (Managed by NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited) to NSDL’s address. Attach the necessary documents with it and self-attest it.
