IIT Placement: Indian Institute of Technology, the country’s prestigious educational institution, this year’s placement season is moving towards breaking records in many ways. While the total number of placements from one IIT has crossed 1000 this season, more than 50 IIT students have got job offers worth more than Rs 1 crore.
This includes not only jobs in foreign companies, but also offers from domestic companies. This trend is being seen for the first time in the last several years. If we talk about the best offer in job offers for IIT students, then it has gone above the package of Rs 2 crore per annum, whereas in domestic companies, the package has been received at Rs 18 crore per annum.

Great performance of IIT Bombay
IIT Bombay has accepted 1,201 offers in the placement season this year and a total of 255 companies have participated in the placement process so far. Till the sixth day of placements, 240 companies offered jobs to the students. Qualcomm made the highest 40 offers, followed by Samsung Research Institute and Intel Corporation.

Uber has offered USD 2,87,550 (over 20 million) to IIT Bombay students, the highest ever international salary package. According to IIT Bombay, after Uber, Rubrik has offered USD 1.21 lakh (over 91 lakh).
IIT Kanpur towards record placement
Multinational companies are looting money on the students of IIT Kanpur. Till now 940 students of this prestigious institute have got job offers, out of which 47 are international offers. 55% of the students of the institute that accept job offers are undergraduate and 45% are post-graduate. For the first time, 16 startups have also offered 45 jobs at attractive packages.

The highest package offered to the student of the institute is Rs 2.08 crore and the maximum package offered by the domestic company is Rs 1.20 crore. 49 offers above Rs 1 crore have been received. So far 216 companies have completed their recruitment process. In the next few days many more companies will come for placements.
IIT Delhi Placement
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has had a great placement season. This year so far 1000 placement offers have been received by the students and this is good news for the students amidst covid. Till now the placement drive of the institute has registered 750 job profiles for students from more than 350 national and international companies from different sectors. More than 60 students of IIT Delhi have received a package of more than one crore.
Package to IIT Roorkee student
A computer science student of IIT Roorkee has got ₹2.15 crore (two lakh 87 thousand 550 dollars) annual package. This offer received by the company is the biggest international package till date. An IIT Bombay student has been offered an annual package of US$ 2.74 lakh (approximately ₹ 2.05 crore) from Uber. Apart from this, a student of IIT Guwahati has got an offer of 2 crore package.
