This is how you can add the name of the nominee
To add a nominee, first login to your Demat Account. Now go to the ‘My nominees’ segment on the page. Here you can choose ‘add nominee’ or ‘opt-out’ option. Now file the details of the nominee and upload the ID proof of the nominee. Next, enter the nominee’s share in ‘Percentage’. Now e-sign the document. This process has to be completed through Aadhaar OTP. After this document verification will take place and the process will be completed within 24-48 hours.
To add a nominee to your Demat Account, you can fill up a nomination form. For this, you can sign it and courier it to the head office address of the company. The nomination will be applicable to your trading and demat account. However, the nominee will be added to your demat account. Investors who have already given the details of the nominee are not required to give this information.

Explain that such investors who have created new trading and demat accounts will have to give nomination through a declaration form. The declaration form will be signed by the account holder. However, no witness is required at the time of filing nomination. Nomination can also be filed using e-sign service. That is, you can file a nomination online.
