7 out of 10 have stomach problems

Around 63% people said that they eat junk or processed or packaged food every week and 68% of them have had stomach problems. 66% of people believe that fast/junk food or chemically processed food is to blame for digestive or stomach problems. More than half of the people who responded to this survey have had these problems on a regular basis. Especially women are facing many health problems, such as lack of energy, mood swings, boredom and anxiety.
What is the common problem of women?
Lack of energy emerged as the most common problem faced by women. Of the women who responded, 41% reported experiencing it regularly. Mood swings are also a big problem and 40% of women reported experiencing it regularly. Boredom is another common problem reported by 39% of women, followed by anxiety, which is reported by 34% of women to experience regularly.
Where did the survey take place?
Under this, a survey was conducted in three cities of the country. The survey asked questions to understand the digestive health of urban Indians. So that their perception on diseases related to stomach health can be known. The ‘Gut Health Survey’ was conducted online using YouGov’s India Panel. In this, answers were taken from 2017 people of Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru. These people were in the age group of 25 to 50 years and 50% of them were men and 50% were women.
