In the video, Maneka mentioned her visit to a cow shelter of ISKCON in Andhra Pradesh, saying that recently she visited Anantapur cow shelter. He was quite surprised after going there, because he did not find a single cow there which did not give milk. There was no calf in the entire dairy. That means they were sold. According to Maneka Gandhi, ISKCON sells all its cows to butchers. Nobody does it as well as they do. Street performers sing “Hare Ram, Hare Krishna”. Then they say that milk is essential for their survival.

‘All are false and baseless Blame,

ISKCON has also reacted to this statement of Maneka. ISKCON has called these allegations baseless and false. The organization’s national spokesperson Yudhishthir Govind Das said ISKCON has been at the forefront of the protection and care of cows and bulls not only in India but globally. He said that here our cows and bulls are served throughout their life and are not sold to butchers as has been alleged.
