Efforts to build a foot overbridge (FOB) were being made for many years. In such a situation, Greater Noida Development Authority has now issued tender for building foot overbridges at 8 places. It is being told that in these 8 places, lifts and escalators are to be installed at many places.
The authority has identified all these places. The first one is located near the Collectorate on Surajpur Road, near Omega Shopping Complex, right in front of Durga Talkies Junction (Petrol Pump), Rotary Sector-16B, near Nirala Estate Township and Earth SEZ, near Kailash Hospital, Supertech Eco. It is to be installed near Yathar hospital including village.
It is often seen that people try to cross the road from anywhere in a hurry or due to lack of foot overbridge. In such situations, they often become victims of road accidents and lose their lives. To get rid of this, the authority has considered building a foot over bridge.

In this regard, OSD Himanshu Verma said that tenders have been floated for the construction of foot overbridge (FOB). Safety of people comes in the category of first priority.
