Nirmala Sitharaman: The country’s Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has managed to make it to the list of 100 powerful women of the force for the third time in a row. This year Nirmala Sitaraman is at number 37 in the list of most powerful women in the world. Last year Nirmala Sitharaman was at number 41 in this list.

American business magazine Forbes releases a list of the 100 most powerful women around the world every year. Apart from 40 CEOs, 19 women leaders from around the world are also included in the Forbes list this year.
Last year, German Chancellor Angela Merkel was at number one in this list, but this time Mackenzie Scott has been placed in the first place. Scott is the second richest person in the world and the ex-wife of Amazon Group owner Jeff Bezos. In the year 2019, both of them got divorced. Second in the list is Indian-origin US Vice President Kamala Harris. European Central Bank President Kristin Lagarde is at number three in this list.
If you look at other Indians in this list of Forbes, along with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Roshni Nadar of HCL Corporation is also present. Roshni has been ranked 52nd in this list. Apart from this, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw of Biocon has been ranked 72nd and Falguni Nair, Founder and CEO, Nykaa has been ranked 88th in the list.
This year, in the 18th annual list of the world’s most powerful women, there are 40 such women, who are posted as CEOs in one or the other company. 19 world leaders have also been given place in the list of Forbes.
