    Production of 35 quintals of green chillies in one acre

    Cultivation of green chillies is very easy. For this, first of all, such a land is needed, where the drainage facility is better. Although green chillies can be grown in any type of soil, but if it is cultivated in soil rich in organic matter, then the yield is expected to be high. Before starting the cultivation of green chillies, it is necessary to prepare the land properly. The land should be plowed 5-6 times with tractor and rotavator. At the same time, if 300 to 400 quintals of cow dung manure is put in the field while ploughing, the production will be better. The seed is first sown in the field. Then, after 35 days, the chilli plants are ready to be planted in the field. On the other hand, the harvesting of chillies starts 60 days after planting. About 35 quintals of green chillies can be produced in one acre. Its cultivation costs about 20-30 thousand rupees. And its price in the market is Rs 4000 per quintal. Accordingly, farmers can earn lakhs of rupees from its cultivation in a year.

    Karnataka has the highest production

    Green chillies are cultivated on a large scale in many states of India. Karnataka is at the top in this matter. Most of the green chillies are produced here. In Karnataka, 18.75 percent green chillies are produced as compared to the whole country. At the same time, Madhya Pradesh is in second place in this matter. Here 18.62 percent green chillies are produced. Apart from this, Bihar is also ahead in the states producing maximum green chillies. 12.56 percent green chillies are produced here. At the same time, green chillies are cultivated on a large scale in Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. The farmers here are earning well by selling chillies.
