Mukesh Ambani, the country’s largest Dhankuber and the head of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), has indicated to hand over the leadership of the company to the next generation. At the Family Day organized on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Reliance founder Dhirubhai Ambani, Ambani said that he now wants to speed up the process of handing over leadership to the younger generation. According to Ambani, Reliance is now in the effective process of leadership transfer. Mukesh Ambani (64-years) has three children. These include his twin children Akash and Isha Ambani and Anant Ambani.
Akash Ambani already has pivotal roles in Reliance Jio and Isha Ambani Reliance Retail business. Mukesh Ambani said on this occasion that all senior executives of Reliance including me should now trust the very capable, committed and full of possibilities young generation. Now the senior executives should guide, enable and motivate this young generation and see the various businesses of RIL reach new heights under his leadership.
According to Ambani, it takes capable people and efficient leadership to turn big dreams and impossible goals into reality. Reliance has now reached a juncture where the seniors of my generation must hand over the reins of business to the young leadership of the next generation. Reliance Industries is set to be amongst India’s most reputed MNCs across the globe in the years to come, on the back of foraying into green energy and the telecom industry reaching unprecedented heights.
