Ashneer Grover wrote a post on LinkedIn. In this post, he wrote his heart out about the layoffs in companies. Ashneer wrote that I am deeply saddened by the news of layoffs. He wrote that I am happy that till date I have never fired any employee due to the bad condition of the company. The reason for this is that I hire people very thoughtfully. It is better to cut the salary of the employees by 25 to 40 per cent than to fire them. This will not create the kind of crisis that is being created now. Ashneer questioned that till date I have not understood why companies do not adopt this formula.
He wrote that I have limited the number of employees to 50 in my third Unicorm company. I choose such people, who join me and think about building the company, giving growth to the company. Recently he has announced his new startup. Also did job opening for this startup. He announced that whoever joins his startup and joins for five years and becomes a part of the company’s growth, the company will gift him a Mercedes.
