New Delhi: Veteran industrialist Gautam Adani’s company Adani Renewable Energy Holding to Limited (Adani Renewable Energy Holding) is going to acquire 50 percent stake in Essel Solar Energy Company of Rajasthan from Essel Infraprojects. The deal will be for Rs 15 crore. Adani Renewable Energy Holding Too Limited is a unit of Adani Green Energy. Adani Green Energy told the stock market that its subsidiary has entered into a definitive agreement with Essel Infraprojects Limited with effect from January 17, 2023. The remaining 50 percent equity shares will remain with the Government of Rajasthan. Adani Renewable Energy Holding Too Limited has a solar park with a capacity of 750 MW in Rajasthan. Its turnover in the year 2021-22 was Rs 9.87 crore.
Explain that this company of Essel Group had done a business of Rs 9.87 crore in 2021-22 from Solar Park. The authorized capital of this company is Rs.50 crore while its paid-up capital is Rs.46.56 crore. According to media reports, Gautam Adani recently attended the Rajasthan Investor Summit. Then he had said that he would invest around Rs 65,000 crore in Rajasthan in the next 5 to 7 years. In this, the company will invest in increasing its cement manufacturing capacity in the state. This investment by Adani Group is expected to generate around 40,000 jobs in the state.
