    Adani Group Stocks: Half of LIC’s money drowned due to the shock of Hindenburg Research! Heavy loss to mutual funds and FII as well

    New Delhi: Investors have lost billions of dollars due to the fall in the shares of Adani Group in the last seven days. The group’s market cap has declined by more than $ 100 billion. LIC, the country’s largest insurance company, has investments in several Adani Group companies. But he has suffered a loss of Rs 38,509 crore due to the fall in shares. LIC has investments in seven Adani Group companies. Of this, the maximum investment is in Adani Total Gas, Adani Ports and Adani Enterprises. LIC’s investment value has declined by Rs 38,509 crore to Rs 42,759 crore in the last seven sessions. On January 24, the value of LIC’s stake in Adani Total Gas was Rs 25,484 crore, which has now come down to Rs 10,664 crore. Similarly, in Adani Ports it has come down from Rs 15,029 crore to Rs 9,854 crore and in Adani Enterprises from Rs 16,585 crore to Rs 7,632 crore. The value of LIC’s investment in Adani Transmission on January 24 has come down to Rs 5,701 crore. Similarly, LIC’s investments in Ambuja Cements, ACC and Adani Green Energy have also taken a hit.

    LIC, Mutual Funds and Foreign Institutional Investors (FII) have lost over Rs 2 lakh crore in Adani Group shares in seven days. As on January 24, his investment in Adani Group companies was worth Rs 3,98,563 crore, which has now come down to Rs 1,90,782 crore. In seven days, it has declined by Rs 2,07,781 crore i.e. 52 per cent. Mutual funds hold stakes in nine out of ten listed Adani Group companies, while FIIs hold stakes in all ten companies.

    Heavy loss to FII

    Similarly, the value of investment of mutual funds declined by Rs 8,282 crore to Rs 16,280 crore. He has holdings in Ambuja Cements, Adani Ports, ACC and Adani Enterprises. Mutual funds have reduced their stake in Adani Enterprises and Adani Ports in the last four quarters. Foreign Institutional Investors have lost Rs 1,43,991 crore due to fall in shares of Adani Group and now the value of their investment has come down to Rs 148,742 crore. In the last four quarters, FIIs reduced their holdings in Adani Enterprises, Adani Green Energy, Adani Total Gas and Adani Transmission.
