Japanese carmaker Honda is preparing to launch two new models in its Indian product portfolio. This includes the Honda City Hybrid and a mid-size SUV. The City Hybrid can be launched early next year. Although no date has been given by the company, it is believed that this car can be launched in February 2022.
Honda’s SUV will compete with these cars
This Honda car will compete with cars like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun in the Indian market. It will take some time for this mid-size SUV to be launched. Not much information has been revealed about the launch yet. It is believed that this car will be launched in 2023.
Will Creta’s tension increase?
It will not be easy for this SUV of Honda to compete with Hyundai Creta. Last month, the Hyundai Creta facelift, the best selling mid-size SUV from Hyundai Motors, was unveiled at GIIAS 2021. Equipped with a great look and powerful features, this SUV has become even more tremendous. The Creta facelift will be introduced in the Indonesian market this year and will be launched in India next year as well. A lot of cosmetic changes have been made to the Creta facelift, making it even more attractive.
The 2022 Hyundai Creta Facelift is heavily inspired by the company’s premium SUV, the Hyundai Tucson, which gets a brand new front and features a redesigned grille as well as LED DRLs on both sides. It gets dual beam projector headlamps, new front bumper and silver colored faux skid plate. It has newly designed dual tone alloy wheels.
