Each PMI electric bus saves 28,000 kg of carbon dioxide annually. In this way, a fleet of 1000 e-buses will reduce CO2 emissions by about 3.4 lakh tonnes over a period of 12 years. Thus, the carbon footprint will be much less than that of conventional diesel-powered buses, which emit 100 tonnes of greenhouse gases every year. Satyam said that with 1000 electric buses running across 26 cities in India, PMI is making a significant contribution in reducing environmental pollution. Our buses have almost no downtime thus providing reliable services to the passengers. They facilitate the adoption of electric mobility not only for the consumers but also for the State Transport Undertakings.
PMI Electro Mobility buses come with comprehensive security systems such as RTMS (Real Time Monitoring System) and CCTV cameras, thus ensuring a safe ride for the passengers. They also have provision for air suspension, which ensures that the e-buses run smoothly even on rough roads and provide a comfortable ride experience to the passengers. Make-in-India company PMI Electro Mobility has a manufacturing plant in Dharuhera, Haryana. The company is setting up another manufacturing unit in Pune, Maharashtra. To promote localization, the company has a battery assembly plant, which is operated entirely by women employees.
