Okinawa sets record for selling 2.5 lakh electric two-wheelers, bumper sale of Praise Pro electric scooter

New Delhi.
Okinawa, a popular company selling electric two-wheelers, has made a record by crossing the sales figure of 2.5 lakh units in the Indian market. It is the first EV manufacturer in the country to achieve such a feat. Okinawa rolled out its 2,50,000th unit from its Rajasthan-based manufacturing plant, which is the company’s best selling electric scooter Praise Pro. The company has set a target of selling one million units of electric vehicles by the year 2025. Popular electric scooters from Okinawa include the iPraise+, Praise Pro, Lite and R30 as well as India’s first premium electric scooter with 16-inch wheels, the OKHI-90.

After launching the first electric in 2017, Okinawa Autotech has grown to become India’s best selling electric two-wheeler company in about 6 years. Okinawa is currently among the top 5 EV companies and sells thousands of electric scooters and bikes every month. The company has the widest portfolio, more than 540 3S touchpoints, after sales service and excellent customer connect. This achievement of Okinawa is also in line with the vision of a sustainable future. Its 250,000 EV two-wheelers have saved around Rs 12.5 billion in petrol cost and 300.3 million kg of carbon dioxide.
