For this, it is necessary for the person to have a ration card under this scheme. People whose ration card is linked to Aadhar card are given this benefit through government ration shops. Those who do not have a ration card and are eligible for it, then such people can avail the benefits of the scheme by going to their nearest tehsil and getting a ration card made.

The Central Government’s Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana was announced in March 2020.
