The upcoming MPV from Maruti Suzuki will be based on Toyota’s monocoque TNGA-C platform and will feature a front wheel drive system. This MPV will get to see a 2.0-liter petrol engine equipped with hybrid technology, which will generate maximum power of 186 PS and 206 Nm pickup torque. E-CVT gearbox will be seen in it and its mileage can be more than 21kmpl.

Maruti Suzuki can introduce this MPV in the Indian market in the coming July-August. Talking about the features, advanced driver assistance systems can be seen in this upcoming MPV and it will be the first Maruti Suzuki car equipped with ADAS. The rest will see a host of standard and safety features including a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, connected car technology, second row seats with ottoman function, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera and multiple airbags.

Let us tell you that Maruti Suzuki India Limited is trying to increase its car production capacity to one million units every year. Maruti Suzuki’s new plant will be set up at Kharkhoda, Sonipat, Haryana. Maruti Suzuki’s new MPV based on Toyota Innova Hycross will also be produced at this plant. Initially the company will manufacture 2.5 lakh units with an investment of Rs 11,000 crore.
