Luxury car maker Mini Cooper is preparing to launch its electric car Cooper Electric SE in India. Now the information about its timeline has been revealed. Now the company has officially informed that this car will be launched in India in March 2022.
Car sold out in 2 hours
The company had made 30 units available for sale and all these 30 units were sold out in just two hours. The company had announced this on social media. The company started booking for this car on 29 October.
This car is based on the company’s famous MINI Cooper and is equipped with a 32.6kWh battery. This Mini Electric is very similar to Mini Cooper in appearance. Fox grills have been given in the car with dual tone body. Apart from this, the car has been provided with Fox Grille, Adaptive LED Headlights with Integrated DRLs and Narrow Air Dam. The sides of the car get B pillars, door mounted ORVMs, black body cladding and 17-inch alloy wheels. This mini car is going to come in color options like Rooftop Grey, Island Blue. It is a small luxury car which is equipped with many great features.
top speed and range
As already told, this car has a 32.6kWh battery which is paired with an electric motor. This powertrain generates 184hp power and 270Nm of peak torque. According to the company, the range of the car is 234 km along with a top speed of 150 km per hour.
