Kia Seltos Facelift will be launched soon, know how the engine and features are

New Delhi. Kia Motor India has showcased the new EV9 SUV concept and the new generation Carnival (KA4) at the 16th edition of Auto Expo 2023. The company is also preparing the Seltos facelift, which was expected to be unveiled at the 2023 Auto Expo, though that did not happen. Let us tell you that the 2023 Kia Seltos facelift is already available in international markets including South Korea and USA.

The new Kia Seltos Facelift will get a new turbo petrol engine. Apart from this, design and advance cabin will be available. However, there is currently no information about the exact launch date. In such a situation, there is a possibility that the new Kia Seltos facelift can be launched in the second quarter of 2023.

Design and interiors of the Kia Seltos Facelift
Talking about the design of Kia Seltos Facelift, it is like the global model. It gets a large tiger nose front grille with full projection LED headlamps, a star map signature lighting around the grille, restyled bumper and integrated vertical shaped fog lights with daytime running lamps. The rear gets LED tail-lights and an updated bumper with LED sequential turn indicators.

Talking about the interior, the 2023 Kia Seltos is largely similar to the current model. It has a panoramic screen display with a 10.25-inch instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch center display. The infotainment unit supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with navigation and voice commands. It gets a new digital instrument console, an electronic parking brake, rear AC vents and automatic air conditioning. It also gets a panoramic sunroof which is missing from the current model.

Among the biggest changes is the radar-based driver assistance system. 2023 Kia Seltos offers ADAS features which include customized cruise control, blind spot detection, forward collision avoidance system, automatic emergency braking, blind spot collision avoidance assist, rear cross traffic collision avoidance assist, safe exit warning, lane following assist, high beam Gets assist and driver attention warning.

Talking about the engine and power, the 2023 Kia Seltos has been given a new 1.5 liter 4 cylinder turbocharged petrol engine which will replace the existing 1.4 liter turbo petrol engine. Let us tell you that the 1.4 liter turbo is not according to the upcoming driving emission norms which will be removed from April 2023.

The new 1.5 liter turbo petrol engine generates 158bhp power and 260Nm torque. Talking about transmission, it will get the option of 6 speed manual and 7 speed DCT gearbox. Other engine options include a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 115bhp power. There is another 1.5 liter diesel engine which generates power of 115bhp.
