New Delhi: Delhi Transport Department announced the 4 winners of the Station Access and Mobility Program (STAMP) in association with WRI India and Toyota Mobility Foundation (TMF). The names of the winners are Metroride, OpenMove, Tmock and Wide. These winners provide some of the best solutions in last mile connectivity and mobility as a service (MaaS). Through STAMP, Delhi aims to provide a single platform that enables better information dissemination, travel planning and payment integration. Also, it aims to build last mile service in areas where better connectivity is required.

The four winners of the Stamp Challenge will receive a combined research grant of US$100,000 to showcase their solutions in Delhi. These pilot solutions are to be introduced in March and April 2023. All teams will be provided with guidance and implementation support from the Delhi Transport Department and WRI India to design and deploy the pilot solution.

Ashish Kundra, Principal Secretary and Commissioner, Transport Department, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) said, “At Stamps Delhi, we have seen many exciting and innovative solutions being introduced. These solutions have the potential to be implemented and scaled across the entire National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCT Delhi), to provide a seamless, end-to-end connectivity for all commuters. Platforms like TMF and WRI India’s Stamp Challenge demonstrate the power of leveraging India’s strong start-up ecosystem to solve the transportation challenges of our cities.

Let us tell you that Metroride is a last mile e-rickshaw aggregator, which is currently being operated in Bengaluru and Hyderabad. The team’s solutions help commuters save time and money accessing the Metro. Openmove is a ticketing and travel planning application based in Trentino, Italy. It enables users to plan, book and pay for their travel from a single platform. Tummoc is a Bengaluru based transit application that provides real-time information and ticketing. Tmock’s platform in Bengaluru enables commuters to locate public transport and buy bus passes. Gurugram based Whide provides commission free last mile service including autos and cabs (taxi).
